![]() ![]() And you are doing EXACT THE SAME, not random, not different locations. Imagine that you have just TWO locations for each episode of the game. No difference in locations - this is the biggest flaw of Chaosbane. Without moments like - oh, ♥♥♥♥, there's huge champion with his minions nearby! Battle with monsters looks like punching rock all the time, no difference how you should punch it, simply do it.ġ1. Every location looks the same - kill all enemies and get the loot. There are no minibosses, no champions like in other aRPG games. No champions or sidebosses - the only thing in the game that make you feel a bit weaker are mosters with bigger HP value. Even in 15 years old aRPG games you can dismantle items, get some scrap and use it to craft something or even repair your EQ. Every other HNS game is giving you option for smaller or bigger crafting, not Chaosbane. ![]() No crafrting - until endgame you can't make your own items, dismantle them or scrap for resources. ![]() Why are you going to the citiy? To use waypoint (which is already nearly rare situation) and to end the questline. You can't trade, you can't buy items, you can't gamble with NPCs, you can't buy health potions, scrolls, runes, anything. No trading - there's literally NOTHING in cities. There is nothing so basic like changing your EQ using other items.Ĩ. You can't improve items for a given part of the game, for example to protect against poison using stuff from killed spiders. There are no runes, jewels, precious stones, items that you can add to your EQ. No items upgrades - only in endgame you can make small changes in your items. It's simply better because stats differences are very small.ħ. So you feel that you only switch one item to another without even looking what it gives to you. In Chaosbane you have maybe 10 stats in iitems until endgame. For hours you will be collecting the same looking items with a bit higher health, armor, defence or attack value. No big difference in items - every item in the game looks very similiar to another. For example superior tier base damage is fire, master isn't. What is most funny? Some of these skills are simply the same, difference is in their damage value! Some skills are plain stupid if you want to make your own build. No different skills - you get level 1, level 2 and level 3 skills, for example base->superior->master. Near every hack'n'slash game is more advanced than Chaosbane.ĥ. Attack Power, Defence and Armor are most important. No builds - you are working on your character under only 4 stats, you can't upgrade your character by side atributes like STR, INT, DEX or something like that. No good approach to the playerbase - you just bought or wanted to buy game with EXP BONUS AS DLC, for mostly single player game. No lore - the only character you can speak to is very very very bad designed, only 6-7 important characters, no movies between episodes, no books, no sidelore during adventure, no story locations, nothingģ. You can just AFK while in city because there's NOTHING to do.Ģ. No NPCs - cities are empty, you can talk only with main questline character. ![]()
